A HOLIDAY firm boss who was caught driving his Porsche car at 111mph was banned for six months yesterday.
James David McAllister, who earns pounds 100,000-a-year as the operations director of a North Wales caravan sales company, failed in his bid to stay on the road.
McAllister, 39, a former police officer, asked magistrates to allow him to continue driving because of the exceptional hardship a ban would cause in his business and family life. He said he could not afford a chauffeur.
But McAllister - who already had nine penalty points on his driving licence following three previous speeding convictions - was banned from driving for six months ...
