ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- "Most recent findings bring good news, of sorts, for Wall Street," said Humphrey Taylor, chairman of The Harris Poll(R), Harris Interactive(R). "The good news is that the bad news isn't that bad!"
Almost every year at this time, Harris Interactive asks the American people what they think of Wall Street. In most of the recent years, the stock market was surging, and most people felt good about the role and value of Wall Street while holding negative, and sometimes very negative, views of the people who worked there. We didn't ask these questions last year because we were focusing on the post September 11th mood and the war on terrorism.
