Well-wishers at District Attorney Brian Blanchard's party began drifting out the door about 10 minutes after they saw the concession speech by his challenger, Rick Raemisch, on television Tuesday night.
There was work to do in the morning.
Hugs and handshakes at Otto's restaurant on Madison's West Side closed the campaign in which Blanchard, a Democrat, won a second term as Dane County's top prosecutor.
