BLUE MOUNDS -- If you had to pick a month associated with deer, it would have to be November. And if you had to pick a person associated with deer, it would have to be Rob Wegner.
The 57-year old Wegner spends nearly every minute of his professional and personal life researching, hunting, observing and writing about deer. He has become the nation's leading collector of deer books, with his library containing more than 2,000 volumes on deer.
Living on 160 acres, known as "Deer Valley" in southwestern Wisconsin, he observes deer daily from his house and office.
