Digging has begun on construction of the business park along Route 31 in Sullivan.
Supervisor John Gladney said eight, five-acre sites on the western side of the 170-acre business park could be ready by spring. The town was putting out to bid Wednesday the construction work for the roads in the business park.
Gladney said no businesses have purchased the sites, but some have voiced interest. He would not name those businesses.
In addition to the business park, a number of other developments, including a town park, an inn and restaurant and a residential area, are planned.
