WASHINGTON -- Ted Kennedy, Jr. today urged people with cancer to become Patient Active in their care by actively learning about their treatment options and seeking out the emotional support services provided by The Wellness Community, a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing free emotional support, education and hope for people with cancer and their loved ones. The occasion for his remarks was the 20th anniversary celebration of the founding of The Wellness Community. The celebration was held at the French Embassy in Washington, DC.
