Article: Pennsylvania State Police Department: 42 Become Pennsylvania State Troopers At Graduation Ceremony.

ANNVILLE, Pa. -- On behalf of Pennsylvania Gov. Mark Schweiker, State Police Commissioner Paul J. Evanko today announced that 37 men and five women graduated from the State Police Academy in Hershey, Dauphin County, and were assigned to troops across the state.

Major Robert R. Einsel, director of the State Police Bureau of Training and Education, supervised the training of the cadets, who were members of the 112th class to be trained at the academy in Hershey since it opened in 1960.

The 112th class was the second cadet class to enter the academy after Gov. Schweiker signed Act 100 of 2001 last December. That law increased the State Police complement by ...
