HOWARD WILKINSON has branded the Premiership the worst league in world football for generating international success.
The Sunderland manager delivered his damning verdict in his World Cup report as the former FA technical director.
Wilkinson describes the Premiership as the most 'draining' of all the major leagues, adding that the style of play is not conducive to producing top international players.
