BUYING used usually means you miss out on the latest technology. But not this time. This ex-demonstrator Audi A2, for sale at Whites in Wimbledon, features an engine so new that it's still being digested in the motoring press.
Causing the fuss is Audi's FSi technology, which debuted in the company's Le Mans winning cars in 2001. This doesn't mean the A2 luxury supermini has been transformed into a ripsnorting Porsche-eater, but it will reach 60mph in under 10 seconds and still return an average 47.1mpg, thanks to clever, fuel-injection technology.
