United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based Al Shirawi Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Company recently announced it has formed a joint venture, known as Al Shirawi U.S. Chillers, with California's U.S. Chiller Services that will focus on heavy-tonnage air conditioning and related services.
The company said it will provide an initial investment of $500,000 for equipment and tools and an additional investment of $2 million in two years if the venture is successful. Al Shirawi executive director Navin Valrani said the company expects revenues during the next two years to reach as high as $10 million.
