OF COMFED SAVINGS BANK SENTENCED FOR BANK FRAUD

BOSTON, Sept. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- A former assistant vice president of ComFed Savings bank and branch manager of its Acton office was sentenced today for bank fraud.

Wayne A. Budd, U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts, announced that Peter Savard of Lawrence was sentenced today by the Hon. William Young. Savard received an 18-month sentence, 30 days to be served, to be followed by three years probation.
