Jiangsu Province invests USD 1.21 bln in urban power-grid construction and reform
Shanghai. November 13. INTERFAX-CHINA - Eastern China's Jiangsu Province has invested over RMB 10 bln (USD 1.21 bln) from 1998 to the end of October this year on urban power-grid construction and reform in its thirteen major cities.
The construction and reform of the urban power-grid has improved the power supply quality in Jiangsu Province. According to statistics from the Jiangsu Provincial Power Company, the comprehensive voltage qualification-rate in 2001 rose to 99.1% from 98.45% in 1998.
