NEW YORK -- Guidelines on weight loss marketing and advertising claims will be discussed at a two-day meeting December 9 and December 10 in Washington, D.C.
The forum, sponsored by the Strategic Research Institute of New York, will review the policies that have been established by the Food and Drug Administration and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Dietary supplement firms and weight loss centers are expected to be represented at the meeting by senior executives in regulatory affairs, marketing and product development.
