2002 NOV 18 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, a private funding source in the U.S. for breast cancer research and community outreach programs, announced the results of its young women's needs assessment, which was the first national study of its kind.
The research, conducted on behalf of the Foundation by the California Family Health Council and Harris Interactive, revealed current breast health practices, widely held breast cancer myths, and preferred education methods for women between the ages of 20 and 39.
