Microsoft Corp. yesterday said its highest-ranking female executive is retiring and announced that it has hired a former Coast Guard commander to advise the government on using information technology to improve domestic security.
Deborah Willingham, senior vice president for human resources and the company's highest-ranking female executive, will retire in February to pursue personal interests, said spokeswoman Stacy Drake.
