The San Diego World Trade Center received $194,474 from the U.S. Department of Commerce's Market Development Cooperator Program for its "Inside Track for Exports to Asia" program.
The program will include new marketing ventures to boost telecommunications and biomedical exports from San Diego County to Asia.
Utilizing the award, the local World Trade Center will establish a partnership with the International Trade Administration (ITA) of the Commerce Department and will work closely with its offices in San Diego, Washington, D.C., and overseas.
