NAGS HEAD -- Plans for a county-run market area have been ejected from the First Flight Centennial agenda, and the National Park Service has agreed to provide food and entertainment at the Wright Brothers National Memorial instead.
The Dare County Centennial Steering Committee voted unanimously Wednesday not to pursue the Centennial Park idea and to lend its support to the park service.
``I think it's the right thing to do - to put it to bed,'' said committee member Hal Denny.
