OMAHA, Neb. -- For the second consecutive year, the ConAgra Foods Feeding Children Better Foundation and Butterball, a brand of ConAgra Foods, are donating Butterball Turkeys to provide 27,000 hungry children special holiday meals this season. Recognizing that nearly one in five children in the United States is hungry or at risk of going hungry, and that the economic downturn has significantly increased demand for food assistance over the past year, ConAgra Foods and its Butterball brand hope this donation will make the holidays brighter -- and fuller -- for thousands of hungry children.
