Color cowardice is rampant.
Ken Charbonneau sees it all the time, and not just among the untrained public. He sees it among interior designers, architects, people who should know better.
"These are people who have a sense of style when they dress, who can pick out a beautiful gift and wrap it in a pretty package. But when they stand in their living room, they just freeze," he said. The result is usually linen white walls _ safe, predictable, boring.
