I was very disappointed in your comments in the "Leading Off" section and the subsequent article highlighting the two visions for agriculture in Saskatchewan, In a typical Saskatchewan-style, lets-make- sure-nobody-succeeds approach, you fail to recognize true vision and succeed only in insulting farmers. You suggested, "if it isn't making you money, stop growing it" and instead, diversify into other entrepreneurial endeavors. Perhaps you haven't been on a farm lately observing the multitude of innovations that farmers are already involved in--and always have been. A simple look at income stats, however, reveals a completely different picture about diversification ...
