VATICAN CITY: Cardinal Bernardin Gantin, dean of the College of Cardinals and a longtime curial official, is planning to retire to his homeland, Benin. "I want to pray, to rest and to spend time with my people," said the 80-year-old cardinal, who has spent more than three decades in Rome.
