Press: gov't likely to introduce means testing for social benefits
Prague. November 18. INTERFAX EUROPE - The Labor and Finance Ministries are planning to submit plans to the government paving the way for means testing for certain social benefits, reports the daily Mlada fronta Dnes (MfD).
Under such plans, Czech citizens would have to submit documents similar to the so-called property statements that Czech Cabinet members have been asked to supply, detailing their property holdings. Backers of the plan say it will save the state several billion crowns a year.
