The merger between Western Australian wine group Evans & Tate and New South Wales-based Cranswick Premium Wines has been delayed. Cranswick Premium Wines has announced that it had been unable to arrange a shareholder vote on the deal at its scheduled 20 December 2002 annual meeting as planned. Evans & Tate CEO Frank Tate said that a new merger timetable would be detailed by 22 November 2002.
