Greens have never been big at my house. But they are now.
I didn't have a fond memory of greens. I ate the required spinach when I was young, and I really didn't mind it all that much. But when it came to turnip greens or mustard greens, I wanted no part.
I still remember families spreading out on a big lot just a couple blocks from my childhood home. They were digging dandelion greens. Those were weeds to me, and how someone could eat them was vastly outside my experience.
I didn't like turnips. I didn't know what mustard greens were. I knew nothing about collards.
I am beginning to change.
Age, I guess, has a lot to do with ...
