Article: Conferees Complete FY '03 Defense Authorization Bill.

Finally wrapping up work on the FY '03 defense authorization bill, congressional defense authorization conferees, meeting in a lame duck session, reached compromise on a number of areas and moved the bill for final passage.

The House passed the final version of the bill and conference report in a voice vote earlier this month.

The Senate was expected to pass the bill soon after the House.
