Outgoing Public Health Commissioner Howard Koh used taxpayer cash for pricey portraits of himself and his predecessors in what critics say was a symbolic gaffe amid looming budget cuts.
Snapped by Boston's legendary Bachrach Studios, one glossy, full-color portrait features the 50-year-old Koh posing in a dark suit and lavender shirt.
The Koh portrait - along with four others featuring the commissioners who preceded him - cost taxpayers $5,308.
