Be a network setup wizard

Setting up a home network has often been the cause of a lot of hair-tearing and cursing. If you have a Windows XP computer in the household, the task is a lot easier. You still need to install network cards in each computer and connect them up to a suitable hub, but XP makes the software configuration simple.

First, ensure all the computers that you wish to connect to a network are turned on and that the lights on your hub show that they are all connected.
