Prague. November 21. INTERFAX EUROPE Co Cpound sterlingThis day is a milestone in SlovakiaCOs history,C[yen] Slovak Premier Mikulas Dzurinda told journalists minutes after his country was invited to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
Slovakia was one of seven Eastern European countries officially invited to join the defense alliance on Thursday, during a two-day summit in Prague. The other new members are Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria, Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia.
