Abstract
Educators are important agents of consumer socialization, having a profound impact on the development of patterns of adult consumer behaviour. After discussing globalization, capitalism and the culture of consumerism, this paper shares a four phase plan to help home economic educators move towards delivering consumer education from a global perspective.
