Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre talked about retirement in two different network television interviews aired Sunday and only one part of the issue was made absolutely clear.

Favre will finish playing this season.

After that, he's not saying. Or, he's not saying with any finality.

In these two interviews, he ruled out nothing beyond this season.

Terry Bradshaw of Fox Sports tried to pin Favre down about when Favre wants to retire.

"You are going to finish this season out and you are going to play next year," Bradshaw said.

Favre replied: "As far as I know, I'm playing next year."
