A group of foreign companies that make and market toys aims to promote toys and games in the domestic market through giant amusement facilities.
International Quality Play and Learning Association (IQPLA), a Denmark-based organization comprising 64 companies including such leading toymakers as America's Learning Curve International and Italy's Plastwood, opened the first of several planned facilities in November. The inaugural facility, called Asobi no Sekai ("A World of Fun"), has floor space of 7,000 sq. meters.
