WASHINGTON -- Continuing its private sector liaison role with federal, state, and municipal government as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security nears formalization, the Homeland Security Industries Association (HSIA) today released eight position papers that include HSIA member generated guidelines for efficient execution of key homeland security segment priorities.
Seven of the HSIA papers are expansions of position statements that HSIA released in September, and one addresses a new segment. The position papers cover security issues, including:
