WASHINGTON, DC--The US Green Building Council (USGBC) announced that 65 buildings representing 51 companies and organizations have been selected for participation in the LEED for Existing Buildings (LEED EB) pilot program. These buildings comprise more than 17 million square feet of floor space. Additionally, the companies and organizations participating in the LEED EB Pilot own or lease more than 400 million square feet of buildings. This level of participation has made this the largest pilot of a LEED product due to market demand in USGBC history.
