FARES International Trading, the ABC International Bank, and Futuris-owned Elders have announced a major export funding deal. The deal involves a structured trade finance facility that provides security of payment against livestock exports from Australia. Futuris financial director Max Ormsby said the deal would facilitate the transportation of larger shipments. Ormsby said the move would allow farmers to opt between selling their livestock on the domestic market or overseas.
