The Cayman Islands has been fortunate as this hurricane season nears its end. Lying smack in the path of these ominous storm masses, it is inevitable that the destination will at some point be hit. But luck was on its side last month when Hurricane Lili, which was heading directly for the minichain, sideswiped the islands, resulting in very minor damage.
