Adam Sandler has spent the better part of his amazingly successful career trying to answer one of pop-culture's most pressing questions: Is it possible to be cute and disgusting at the same time? Can mawkish sentiment mix with comedy that includes jokes about a small, hairy man whose body, at one point, is covered with human feces?
Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights continues his quest to find the right blend of gross-outs and glee. This bizarre holiday offering isn't much different from a live-action Sandler film, except that it allows him to create three characters.
