TORONTO -- The five finalists for the 2002 Lionel Gelber Prize, the world's most important award for non-fiction, will be announced at 10 a.m. (ET) on Tuesday, December 3, 2002.
On this day, news media will be provided with the names of the five international authors, as well biographical background and contact information (e-mail addresses, telephone numbers) so journalists can interview the authors, who will make themselves available when the shortlist is released.
