MONTREAL - The federal government is ready to pump more money into better health care for Canadians, Prime Minister Jean Chretien said yesterday.
Chretien told the roughly 1,200 participants at the weekend meeting of the Liberal party's Quebec wing the government had heard Canadians' concerns about their ailing health care system and promised the Romanow report would not languish on a shelf.
