The holiday season traditionally has represented between 25% and 50% of annual jewelry sales for high-volume retailers. With so much at stake during this critical sales period, security issues become even more magnified.
To discuss some of the security issues facing major retailers this holiday season, HVJ turned to John J. Kennedy, president of the Jewelers' Security Alliance since 1993. In an exclusive interview with HVJ, Kennedy talked about how "security ready" the chains are entering the holiday season--as well as some of the areas in which they are most vulnerable.
