Rome--Previous issues of C.I. (Oct. 01, pp.23-24; Dec. 01, p.23) outlined the "marital" misadventures of Archbishop Emmanuel Milingo of Lusaka, Zambia. He was attracted to the Korean Rev. Sun Moon's sect, supposedly "married" in a group ceremony in New York, to subsequently break away from the sect and return to the Catholic Church.

Now the archbishop, in excerpts from his upcoming book Fished out of the mud, says that he was the victim of a conspiracy and may have been brainwashed by the sect.
