An increasing number of states are enacting regulations to limit industrial emissions of greenhouse gases, despite the Bush Administration's opposition to climate change mandates, says a recent report from the business coalition Pew Center on Global Climate Change (Arlington, VA). The regulations include restrictions on greenhouse gas emissions from power plants in Massachusetts, and recently enacted emissions limits from tailpipes in California, says the Pew Center, which includes Air Products and Chemicals, DuPont, and Rohm and Haas.
