Ten farm groups from most corners of the globe laid out their main goals for World Trade Organization talks on agricultural trade during a press conference held Oct. 25 in Geneva, Switzerland.
The farm groups, representing millions of commercial farmers from rich and poor countries in Asia, Africa, Europe and North America, called on negotiators to make sure the WTO talks deliver a fair deal for the farm community, giving farmers a stronger role in the food chain.
