Two foreign investment banks have been authorised to offer Hong Kong retail investors hedge fund products. New York's JP Morgan Chase & Company and London's HSBC Holdings identified themselves as the two companies that would offer the three products announced as approved by the Hong Kong Securities & Futures Commission. The products are two single-strategy hedge funds for the retail market, offered by JP Morgan & Chase Company, and one fund of hedge funds, offered by the HSBC Holdings division, HSBC Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited.
