LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE--Standard & Poor's--Dec. 3, 2002--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that it assigned its preliminary credit ratings to the asset-backed floating-rate notes to be issued by special-purpose entity CR FIRENZE MUTUI S.r.l. (see list below).

The notes will be backed by a portfolio of performing mortgages originated by Banca CR Firenze SpA ("Carifirenze") and secured over residential properties, located in the region of Tuscany in Italy.
