PARMA, Ohio -- Cuyahoga Community College will officially open a new Technology Learning Center (TLC) at their Western Campus in Parma on Thursday morning, December 5.
The $13 million, 50,000 square foot TLC will house 700 state-of-the-art computers in Ohio's most technologically advanced classroom facility. It is the first new building to be erected at the Western Campus since the Campus was built in 1975 on the site of the former Crile General Hospital.
Also on hand to assist will be Sico, a life-size digitally controlled robot who will play a prominent -- and speaking -- role in the opening ceremony beginning at 10 a.m.
