Dec. 2--RICHMOND, Texas--Beginning early next year, Fort Bend County will join its neighbor Harris County in the toll road business when construction begins on a five-mile thoroughfare.
The four-lane Fort Bend Parkway Toll Road will connect the Sam Houston Tollway (Beltway 8) with Texas 6 and should aid commuters, ease traffic problems and stimulate economic development in the eastern part of the county, local officials said.
