World Bank's IFC weighs capital involvement in to-be-created Polish coal holding KW
Warsaw. December 2. INTERFAX-EUROPE - The International Finance Corporation (IFC) from the World Bank group is considering capital involvement in Kompania Weglowa (KW), a to-be-created mine based on the 19 best mines from 5 holdings, Deputy Economy Minister Marek Kossowski told reporters on Monday.
"We are conducting talks on the IFC investment and there is a suggestion from the Economy and Treasury Ministries that we would like to have the IFC as a partner for the coal mining sector -- not only on the basis of credits but also through other instruments," Kossowski said, ...
