Grande Paroisse has taken issue with a report by consultancy firm Cidecos-Conseil on the explosion at the AZF plant at Toulouse last year. The report, prepared on behalf of the Grande Paroisse Health and Safety Working Committee (HSWC), run by the workers' union for the Toulouse unit, is alleged by the consultants to have contained a number of points which did not appear in the HSWC's final report. These points included: that Grande Paroisse does not have the authorisation to run the AZF unit; that unqualified subcontractors were hired to handle fertilizers; and that Hangar 221, in which the ...
