Dec. 4--Rising healthcare costs, onerous taxes, government contract bundling and inconsistent rule enforcement were some of entrepreneurs' complaints that the U.S. Small Business Ombudsman noted at a special hearing held Tuesday in Miami.
"These things you talked about may have a triggering effect and change the rules," Ombudsman Michael L. Barrera told about 50 business people assembled at the Regulatory Fairness Hearing that took place in Miami-Dade Community College's Wolfson Campus. "Regulations can cost you a lot of time and money."
