ATLANTA CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU REPORTS OCTOBER SCHEDULE
ATLANTA, Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau reports for October 1990 there will be approximately 140,572 people in metropolitan Atlanta attending 106 meetings, conventions, trade shows and public shows.
Based on expenditure statistics from the International Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus, these meetings should produce $116.2 million for the city. These figures represent only the meetings reported to the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau.
